Animal Spirit Burial opened in 2009. We stated the grounds so that people would have a permanent resting place for their special pets. The grounds covers two acres in rural southern Indiana, away from busy streets and surrounded by spacious fields and trees. The land was approved for cemetary use by the Jackson County Plan Commission on Aug.12, 2009.
Kathryn L. Jarvis is a graduate of Pudue University with a degree in animal science. She worked 15 years as a letter carrier for the United Stated postal servics before retiring. She is the autor of So you Want the Perfect Dog: Start Here and a Reverend of the Universal Life Church Monastary.
